After 2 years of blogging and keeping entries which many people enjoyed reading, the admins here at free-blog-site.com decided that people's efforts were worth exactly $0 NOTHING ZIP ZILCH, and just blew it all away and moved to the new format.

The new site admin wrote me an email to explain what happened. Things didn't go well when migrating from the old software with many blogs and comments filled with p0rn SPAM and they just had to make a clean break.
It hurts, but I've managed to recover many of my old posts (albeit without all the great reader comments). I have decided to relocate my blog over to http://dragonspeed.wordpress.com mostly because there is a built in "archive my blog" capability. I really can't handle losing everything (I never noticed how much I care)
I wish the new admin good luck with your endeavour! May the Internet Gods make their face to shine upon you, and may the pipe always be fat :)
