Tears protect our eyes from dust and other particles. There’s a layer under the upper eyelids that produce a salty liquid i.e. tear, which gets spread throughout the eye after each blink. Three types of tears are formed by the human eye. First one is those tears which protect the eye and keep it moist. Second one generates when the eye becomes irritated because of infusion of some dust particles in the eye. And, the last one is the emotional tears which gets appeared in response to some physical pain, sadness, mental stress, anger and sometimes even due to laughter. Emotions Vs crying Studies have been shown that emotional tears or sobbing participate in relieving tensions and it balances the mind stress. It actually helps crier to feel better. Emotions are universal means of communication. Babies, who yet haven’t learnt to speak, express their hunger, pain, frustration, fear etc. by means of crying. For adults also it’s an efficient way to express their sadness, their feelings under different circumstances such as weddings, funerals etc. Even animals have the ability to produce tears. They too have emotions like humans, but their reasons for crying may not be the same as humans. However, scientifically it’s yet to prove that, do animals shed tears for emotional reasons like humans? Tears are very effective tool to express our emotions, to release our tensions, and to restore mood. It derives the feeling of calmness. Crying minimizes mental stress and pain. The person who goes for easy emotional crying are in fact considered as normal and social human beings. Tears of a woman One question may strike to your mind that why women cry more than men? Well in response to this question many surveying organizations concluded that women are more emotional as compared to men. Moreover, this also depends upon the society. In many societies, if a male cries, it is not accepted to be good. A common believe is that a man should be strong in nature and shouldn’t cry. They should cry only during some sad events like funeral. As woman is considered to be more emotional so there tears are justified for the society. Therefore, from the very beginning men are always taught to not behaving and crying like a girl. But, this concept is found to be negative and it causes development of aggressiveness in the males. There are no certain reasons which justify the human crying at various emotional occasions. In fact it emotions can never be completely explained on scientific platform. But a few biotechnologists believe that crying under some emotional influence is just because of variation in harmonic levels of body. Stay crying So, it can be said that, there are both emotional as well as physical reasons to justify crying. Women are may be more emotional than men, but in some cases even men also cry and express their feelings as openly as women. There are both physiological and cultural aspects, combined together to explain our tears. Therefore, taking various concepts into consideration, it can be said that, we shed tears when we are feel pain or when we fell emotionally disturbed. It is suggested that it’s better to cry when somebody feels emotionally tensed rather than controlling inner self, which will otherwise contribute in increasing tensions of a particular. A military cargo plane, flying over a populated area, suddenly loses power and starts to nose down. The pilot tries to pull up, but with all their cargo, the plane is too heavy. So he yells to the soldiers in back to throw things out to make the plane lighter. They throw out a pistol. “Throw out more!” shouts the pilot. So they throw out a rifle. “More!” he cries again. They heave out a missile, and the pilot regains control. He pulls out of the dive and lands safely at an airport. They get into a jeep and drive off. Pretty soon they meet a boy on the side of the road who’s crying. They ask him why he’s crying and he says “A pistol hit me on the head!” They drive more and meet another boy who’s crying even harder. Again they ask why and the boy says, “A rifle hit me on the head!” They apologize and keep driving. They meet a boy on the sidewalk who’s laughing hysterically. They ask him, “Kid, what’s so funny?” The boy replies, “I sneezed and a house blew up!” Source:- http://jokes.desicomments.com/

A couple buys this cute little dog. They take him home and two days later the dog becomes very lazy. It won’t eat, doesn’t bark, heck it doesn’t even move at all. So the couple decides to take the dog to the Vet. The Vet looks at the dog and then lays it on the floor. He then brings a cat into the room and sets it beside the dog. The cat crawls all over the dog for several minutes and then runs around the dog four times before the Vet picks up the cat and puts him back in his cage. The Vet then turns to the couple and says, “I’m sorry to tell you this, but your dog is dead… That’ll be $225.00.” “$225.00?,” screamed the outraged man. “You expect me to pay you that much just to tell me my dog is dead?” The Vet replied, “It’s only $25.00 for the office visit and $200.00 for the Cat Scan.” Source:- http://jokes.desicomments.com/page/4/

The history of women (and to some extent men) sprucing themselves up to gain an appearance which is not natural, dates backs to the Egyptians. It is possible that the art of ‘make up’ existed before the Egyptians but the recorded history doesn’t take us that far back in time. To narrow down, who among the Egyptians was the first person to use the art is near to an impossible task – no one knows who invented make up. The earliest archaeological evidence which suggests the use of cosmetics dates back to the 3500 BC in the ancient Egypt. People in China used to trim their nails as early as the 30th century BC. Japanese geishas also applied white rice powder on their faces. The Europeans, on the other hand, didn’t think very highly of pampering oneself. A possible reason could be; because they didn’t have much of an idea about how to apply make up or to go for the right kind of materials; ‘make up’ often did more harm than good. For example; some of them used ‘white lead’ to whiten their faces, which is a cause of lead poisoning. The early Islamic scientists did some research into cosmetics and one of them, Abu al-Qssum al-Zahrawi who wrote a 24-volume encyclopedia on medicine, devoted the 19th volume to the ‘Medicine of Beauty’ (make up). It was only when this book was translated into Latin, did the Europeans come to know the art of ‘make up’ and then they improved on it. In the 20th century, with the spread of television, theaters and ballets, the protagonists on the screen influenced the popular mindset. There was no dearth of people who wanted to look like the actors or actresses on the TV screen. This gave the cosmetics companies a big boost. The trend is no where near the end even in the first decade of the 21st century. Source:- http://www.thegeminigeek.com/who-invented-make-up/
