The fashion designer Catherine Walker, whose clothes were favoured by Diana, Princess of Wales, has died at the age of 65, her family has said. Several hundred thousand more people have been forced to flee towns and villages in Pakistan's southern Sindh province amid fresh flooding. Talks to try to avert a strike that would close six of the UK's major airports will begin on Monday, it has been confirmed.
